Registration & Play
Competitors must register in the SGU Championship Office at least 30 minutes prior to their round 1 starting time as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering.

Competitors will play two rounds on Saturday 16 June and two rounds on Sunday 17 June. The 30 competitors returning the lowest scores over the first 36 holes and those tying for 30th place shall play the final 36 holes on the second day.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that if they arrive late within 5 minutes they will be subject to a two shot penalty. Arriving late to the tee beyond five minutes will result in disqualification.

CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke. Information on the Rules, distance or matters of public information, such as the position of hazards or the flagstick on the putting green, is not advice.

Clubhouse
Competitors and their guests may use the clubhouse facilities. The dress code is smart casual. The wearing of jeans, shorts, sleeveless or collarless shirts and training shoes is not permitted. Soft spikes maybe worn in the clubhouse.

MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ON THE COURSE

Catering
Catering will be available in the clubhouse over the weekend between 0700 and 1830. All catering will be at competitors own expense.

Etiquette
In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks.

Practice Rounds & Practice Facilities
Practice rounds, at a cost of £15 per competitor per round, subject to availability but must be booked in advance by telephoning the professional’s shop on 01563 538648.

There is a practice area available for warming up. Players will be required to supply own practice balls.

Presentation
There will be no official prize presentation. Vouchers will be forwarded to the leading 3 players.

Responsibility
Rowallan Castle Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of players’ property during the event.

Rules
The event will be played under the R&A rules of golf and the local rules of the golf club as determined by the SGU Events Committee. The SGU reserve the right to over rule any club local rule.

Trolley’s, Caddies & Yardage Books
A limited number of trolley’s are available for hire on a first come first served basis. Yardage books are also available for purchase from the professional's shop.

Scorecards
Scorecards will be provided by the SGU and must be returned to the SGU Championship Office immediately after play.
